Just letting you know and not trying to cr aap on your thread, but a stage 2 VF E46 M3 kit with 6k miles on it sold for $4,800 locally in the past month. I wouldnt consider a 4k offer a slap in the face.

thanks for taking a crap all over it. I don't care what others sold their kits for, I paid $11k for it new, I think $6k is an amazing deal!

i only offered 4k because i just picked up a stage 2 aa kit with meth kit and upgraded pullies for around 4k. please dont consider it an insult was just making an offer.

Once installed, will only need to send my ecu to VF for configuring? ($$??)

also, my car is basically stock as far as the drivetrain and engine goes. Are there any other mods that are a must when installing this kit or would it be ok to just add on from there (i.e. exhaust, headers, etc.)

your gonna need a free flowing exhaust and header set up or you could have failure... id search the forums for a full used exhaust and headers

again ? why would you have failure running stock exhaust and exhaust manifods ?

you can run ebay headers , and search for a used exhaust on here , but it is not neccesary . Now if you are looking for the most out of your engine than yes upgrade the engines ability to breath.

Yes all is needed is to send the ecu out to VF after you install everything.
I ran only free flow exhaust, didn't change performance at all. You will obviously get better results if you run new header/cats/pipes/exhaust, but for stage 1 it is not required at all. Stage 2 requires all of the above!
