Hi everyone,
Can someone advise me on the best approach in taking out the heater hose connector (No. 9, part No. 11531708808, http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...65&hg=11&fg=35) from the back of the engine so that I may renew the o-ring. The area to work around is pretty tight and the connector bolts are difficult to get access to with a spanner/ ratchet. Thanks |

i dont know anything about a 318. the m52 engine has it accessible by arm.. If you can get your hand on it, it took about 30 seconds of pulling, just a constant pull, to get it off. Make sure you are holding the plastic part, not the rubber hose. Maybe use 2 hands if you can get em in there. but just pull.
