capacitor wiring loom??????????

can a already made up short wire with inline capacitor and plugs be purchased anywhere to solve my flickering xenons?

i have a 2003 325ti compact which i have fitted oem xenons from halogen,

don't fancy cutting any wires and absolutley hate getting ripped off at the dealers.

if not does anyone have step by step instructions and pictures+parts needed to make the short wire up?

the most tech thing i have ever attempted was to fit ccfl eyes which seemed to go ok.

any replies much appreciated!thanks

Hey Squeeky, Like the car, same model as mine but different colour!

Anyway, hope you've managed to source a capacitor loom, but if not I think they are on ebay see item # 330355655420 or some other places sell them, I found sells them.

You could always get the LCM re-flashed for bi-xenon, but I think you'd loose the halogen high-beam which would only work as the flash flash function and you would require extra wiring from the light switch to the spare 3-pin socket on the ballast to operate the shield solenoid (for "high-beams")

I also seem to remember that the re-flash doesn't disable the vertical height knob on switch, just it works real slowly with a 10-20sec delay.
And, unless you have the level sensors for auto-height I think the car will always report an error code about not seeing the axle sensors, so for about a tenner each I think the capacitor solution is prob less hassle and worth a try.

I'm hoping to do the OEM bi-xenon soon too so have been searching around, lots!
