It sometimes works on plastic license plates, not the metallic with pressed letters/numbers.

mythbusters did a test with this, and it was determined that you would have to go 174+ (they did it in a panoz), to avoid a clear picture

Yea, and i think top gear did a test on that too, they were in a TVR and they did roughly the same speed, i think it was like 175 mph before the camera couldn't detect the car.

Normally, yes I agree. I really don't speed a lot and don't make a habit of rolling through red lights.

See the sig...its a lot different here in Seoul, Korea. So yeah, throw up the face palm. Come over here a drive a little bit and see what happens.

Oh trust me, I've been living in that city for almost 20 yrs, so I know how it goes..lol..

It'll be cool if it works, but seems freaking complicate.

Tx police tested similar products, they didn't work..

Well most of the cameras in seoul are hanging on the traffic light pole, so set up the sun-shade plate on license plate to block their visual...
or..remove front plate? :idunno:

So you know the frustration. The a-wipe taxi cab drivers are something else.

I've got this on the way...

BTW, in case anyone is curious, the Phantom Plate customer service is horrible!

lol, well, if you get a speeding ticket for 9 mph over the limit that's in excess of $200, you will be frustrated as well. But I agree with you.
