Have them put the bumpers but don't buff/wax it. They're not good at that.

no you have to buff it cause thats the clear coat..it needs to be buff not wax...

Of course you do...that said, it doesn't mean body shops are good at it, and even when they outsource a detailer, they're trying to move cars as quickly as possible so they don't do it very well, either. Whenever I had bodywork done, I made sure they don't touch it after painting it, and I buff it myself. And yes, some body shops that I've been to buff and wax the car after a respray, even though the paint hasn't fully cured.

i dont think they could do that, not doing it right, i would ask them again to redo it... and if thats the case ill never go to that body shop again....

I'm iffy on that...remember that when you buff off paint, you're taking off some of the clearcoat. If you ask them to redo it, the same unskilled guy will buff it with the same equipment in the same amount of time. They're not gonna go out of their way to find you the detailer from heaven...remember that it is a production line. It sucks, but it is what it is.
