So I brought my 01 330i auto to the drag strip

Well as the title says a couple weeks ago I brought my 01 330i Auto with 114k on the clock to the drag strip just out of curiosity. A little background on the car itself
-bought the car two years ago with 99k on it
-Replaced Full coolant system, plugs, vcg, did all the routine maintenance. (leather Dyed the interior dove grey was killing me lol)

Mods- afe stage 1, uuc pullies, electric fan swap, sprint booster, dinan muffler, and kw v1s. (All mods I bought used spent a total of about 1000 for all the mods and maintaince parts).

Rims- style 135s

First run was rough was trying to get the tree down and find the best rpm for lunching it ran a 15.3. After remembing rt don't matter seeing as the timer doesn't start till you move. All I cared about was the quarter mile time not 10 second street machine next to me. But after that I ran it again. Ran 15.0 and figured out where to luanch it. best launch rpms for me where around 2-2.5k.

So I said let me go one more time before my tranny falls out. A 99ish svt pulls up next to me. I figured just another car to blow my doors off. But we take off, both awful reaction times but my launch was close to perfect, I got slight wheel spin then rear end hooked right away. A quarter of the way down I look over and I'm slightly in front of him all I could do was start laughing. After the halfway mark he started pulling but the fact it stayed next to him that long I was shocked. I ended up running 14.95. Now I'm sure that wasn't the svt best run of the night but still the 330 shocked me.

The track closes next week for the year so in the winter I think I'm going to put headers and shark it. I also ran with 3/4 tank of gas so I'm going to gut the interior, let some air out the tires, and run it with 1/8 tank it Should make it slightly quicker. will eventually jump to a m when I can find the right one. After the winter would love to start going to actual tracks but I don't know of to many near Boston. But I attached the time slip below against the svt. Thanks for looking.

Lol sorry for the novel on the full highlights of the day's events and background on the car. I can see why it maybe confusing. My phone is also as old as my car so for any mistakes too
Great time on the strip! I can understand why the member above is confused though, your write up was easy to get lost in.

Maybe make a mods/maintenance list with bullets instead of making a run on sentence...

Otherwise great job, can't wait to see what is next for it.

You don't use paragraph breaks or grammar in Boston? That was a rough read.

Ya I think I missed that week on grammar and punctuation. Haha thanks for the advice. I tried cleaning it up a bit. Hopefully makes it easier on the eyes.
