the vinyl is very easy to remove and should not leave any residue.

is the matte black youre using more of a satin black rather than matte black...looks semi glossy compared to the matte on my roof ...? maybe its the pics

No, satin black is horrible. It's in the middle of the road, and it's just no good. Some people also use a "flat" black versus a matte black finish, which also results in a horrible finish/look imo. Flat black absorbs too much white light that causes it to look washed out and grey-ish versus black. Matte black has more of a sheen to it, which helps preserve that nice black finish, imo.

I'll try to find a picture of a satin black to show you what I mean.

Possibly. It's kind of hard to tell in those pictures. Does your roof look grey-ish to you in bright lighting?

kinda i guess...i like the really flat look it has....u have any close up pics of the matte you use....im considering doing my whole car now eventually so wanna see which flat or matte i wanna go with
