Jimmy's ///M3 Build thread.

Hi everyone around the world

So ive decided to make a new build thread to try gauge some more interest. The Australian section is as boring as watching paint dry. Had enough of the continuous "Angel eye posts" and "Painted my grills black" Posts. Anyway

About 2 years go i purchased a Alpine white e46 m3 with 40,000kms on it. "Not sure what that is in Miles". Car was stock as a rock. As im a younger person it didnt take long for the mod bug to begin. Unfortunately I did it the wrong way buying cheap ebay items which of course didnt fit and were poor quality. Etc Carbon Fibre Grills and CSL diffusers all the thing we buy first Soon realising I had to spend the money to see the results i wanted.

First Mod was a Gruppe M exhaust which i removed within a week of owning it because the drone was unbearable. I then went with a Supersprint set up. SS Catless section 1, SS resonated section 2 and SS LW race muffler. Which 1 year into owning it still puts a smile on my face.

I then of course wanted a lip and found someone local selling one "hideous i know" That was also removed within a month of installing it.

I then went on abit of a spending spree Buying CSL Rep airbox, Bilstein Pss10 Coilovers and ADV.1 wheels. The car stayed like that for about 8 months and spent most of my money on maintenance and keeping it well serviced.

it got to the point where i was getting bored of the car and considered selling. I put it up and get a few People ring. I person came to look at it and was about to put a deposit down when i had brain snap and thought to myself "WTF am i doing". I then took it off the net and went Nuts.

Status gruppe CSL front bar, Brembo BBK 6piston 380mm Front 4 piston 345mm rears. TE37SLs Black editions 9.5+22F 10.5+20R, OEM CSL boot, Vortstiener Diffuser, Bushes, Camber plates, Camber arms, Carbon Fibre Side skirt extensions, trimmed Steering wheel and shift boots plus many other things that i cant remember. Atm this is how the car sits.

Upcoming Mods Are:
AGT Difuser which should be here with the next 2 weeks
Seats not sure which brand to go, open to suggestions.
ESS 575 SuperCharger
Vented bonnet, not sure whether to go GTR or cut ones into mine.

Let me know what you guys think!!

Thanks man, must be not worth reading Ahahah. Just put it up because there aren't Many build threads and thought it might give some people enjoyment to read.

I did like the ADV set up to. I'm aiming for an aggressive almost racecar look that is actually functional on the street and track.

Look what arrived today!!!! AGT rear diffuser. I'll going to try mount it a little differently then they recommend. Will be mounted flat similar to the varis design and flipping the fins the opposite way.

So me and a few mates tackled the diffuser Saturday and to say the lest was abit of a mission.

We test fitted it having it mounted completely flat and i wasnt happy how it sat. Instead i put smalled spacers on the side (10mm instead of 30mm) and personally prefer it better. Havent had a chance to get some good pictures as its very hard to capture underneath, specially with a phone lol.
