Convert "business navigation" to 16:9?

Hello, i've searched trough the forum but not really found what i've been looking for.

Is it possible to change from this: http://images.forum-auto.com/mesimag...noir%20int.jpg navigation to the 16:9 display without any larger modifications? except the dash board of curse. What i mean is; if its possible to change the ugly original headunit with cassete etc for the 16:9 unit? And still have the radio navi etc working?

Maybe i should add that the car is an 330ci e46 late -02 and is the radio tuner in the frontunit or in the trunk like with the 16:9.

Well this is my first post to this forum but i'll answer still

Yea i is possible to retrofit Professional Nav to that car but without any work not possible
Check this post for example.. not complete walk through but you get the image what is needed.

Just use search and try "navigation retrofit" as key words and you get quite much information from this forum and from google you can get quite many DIY's.

I can guess that you have MK II or III.. it can be identified by the look of CD drive from trunk. Read this for more information about BMW Navis

thanks a lot for your help, although i've read alot about the retrofit kits and they are mostly complete installations for cars without any navi at all, and then i've read some where ppl have changed their 4:3 navi to the 16:9 some by only changing the screen unit and some with the whole retrofit installation but none of'em i've found takes up this with the "radio navi" or what's it called.

No one knows?
