Aftermarket radio

Hi Everyone, i'm new at this forum and this is my first post, i need your help.
I have an 2003 ///M3 convertible with harman kardon sound and factory sub, my question is to upgrade an aftermarket radio nav, do i need an special wire harness for the factory speakers and sub or is just rca connections???

Fixing to upgrade my factory radio to an Eonon Nav unit. Can anyone tell me where to install the GPS antenna on a convertible (2005 M3). Thanks for your help...

My Ride: 2004 M3 Coupe
I moved mine on the front right corner of the dashboard by the windsheild. Audio shop installed it inside the dashboard. That was a fail. It takes minutes and sometimes doesn't get a signal. Relocated it outside and all is good now. Signal is there right away as soon as I turn on nav.
