Does all carwash strip sealants/wax

Just thinking about my next wash, and I don't want to strip the 2 coats of Jetseal I put on 6 wks ago, but now just wondered if ALL carwashes (mine is DG901 right now) will strip it if it is used in too-concentrated formula.

ie, should I make sure not to use too much? Usually I just pour a bit in the bucket and suds it up, but not sure if I'm really getting to the "1 oz per gallon" or whatever......

A proper car wash shampoo should not strip wax. Thats the entire point of Auto shampoo is to not strip wax oppose to using dish soap which will strip the wax.

Use your shampoo per instructions and you'll be fine. Note: Touchless drive-in car wash systems use harsher chemicals to compensate for the lack of contact with the finish so these systems do cause sealants/waxes to wear off much, much faster.

My Ride: is clean & protected
Most auto shampoos are designed to NOT strip off the protection. Most of our shampoos are totally safe and won't remove the protection so you can wash without removing the sealant or wax.

If you use a concentrated solution of the Chemical Guys Citrus Wash & Gloss - 16 oz or the Chemical Guys Citrus Wash and Clear - 16 oz you can safely strip off the protection. At this time these are the only two shampoos we carry that do this task.

Let me know if you have any questions.
