Read "The sickness unto death" and tell me if you're still an existentialist. Kierkegaard killed existentialism for me.

Jacques Chirac is always interested in improving his knowledge and general culture. I didn't knew Kierkegaard. I checked his Wikipedia File and read a very interesting article that made me think about my life.

Thank you very much. I will check my local library to find one of his book.

Nihilism ftw?

Funny this thread comes up...I just recently ordered The Will to Power. And now I think I will order The Sickness Unto Death.

Just completed a course on Jean-Paul Sartre and existentialism. His ideas are profound, yet in ways so simplistic. The way he explains consciousness, nothingness, etc in Being and Nothingness is amazing. I am moving on to studying Heidegger now.

oh and... existence precedes essence. Am I right? I am more of a libertarian I think. Still trying to find myself.
