Need Help with V1 Hardwire in 2002 M3

I just got a 2002 M3 and have searched the forums and online for hardwiring a Valentine 1 radar detector to the light panel by the sunroof switch. I also found Mad Russian's DIY for the hardwire, but I don't seem to have the same colored wires that everyone else references and uses to do it.

I have a multiwire harness and a three wire harness, which presumably would be the one that gets tapped, but the colors of the wires don't match the write up: http://m3.madrussian.net/diy_valentine_v1.shtml

Am I not seeing another wiring harness tucked inside there somewhere? Is the wiring color just different in early cars, including the 2002 cars?

you have to dig in deeper on the right side, it's there.
