Hi Fellas,
Unfortunately last night when i was driving my 2001 330i after "3 hours" of hard-work to changing Spark Plugs and adding KN CAI and suddenly an a**hole didn't stop on stop sign and hit my car in passenger side. ![]() :![]() he damaged both passenger side doors but i was bit fortunate as: 1. door panels for both doors are 100% fine 2. glass of rear passenger door is fine 3. windows regulators for both doors i working fine..even with front passenger door glass is broken but i can still able to hear up -down noise from windows regulator. I have posted pics and i would like to get advise from my fellows about what to do?? ![]() PS: i called my insurance company and i am waiting for police report. I am living in NYC Last edited by aspi944; 10-04-2009 at 07:56 AM. |

If he was charged with accident there should be no worries(if he has a decent ins comp)fight to have them replace the doors not bondo them.

i dont think so..as new doors cost around $300-$450 and i "just" need door frames..everything else is 1000% fine..new front passenger glass will cost $100 - $150 and trims is just 20 bucks.

Try and find new door skins from a junkyard that are painted the same color as yours.
I did this to my bro's silver passat and it still looks great 3 years later. Take it to the best body shop, so you get a huge estimate for repair, and pocket the cash! You just got paid around $2k to replace your own doors. |
