Eddy, would you anticipate any fitment issues on a sedan with the 18x9 running 255/35/18 all around? I've got AST coilovers with 60 mm springs so I've got extra clearance up front on the inside (relative to stock), I think the fenders might be the only real concern. Based on some quick math, it seems like it should work with the worse case scenario requiring only minor fender rolling.

Fitment is very possible on that setup. Depending on where you have the coilover set, you may need a spacer to clear the lower spring perch. i doubt it will be an issue though, as a slight ride height change or thin spacer could solve this. The fact that your willing to roll fenders shows, you already understand what's needed to make something fit, if it ends up being tight. Here's a photo f the 18x9 on an e46 m3 with about -3 camber and a 245/40. this is WITH a 10mm spacer just to push the wheel out for photos. Even with the 10mm spacer it fits with ease when negative camber is added. This is on an M though, but it just shows how conservative that fitment actually is. 10mm is a lot. |

Yeah, I've got Vorshlag camber plates so I've got some flexibility there. Will be running street tires for the foreseeable future. I don't mind a little work if it's a snug fit, just wanted to make sure I'm not asking too much of that fitment.

have 18x9 et45 wheels and i need 5 mm spacers to clear fronts so i think et42 might be PERfect fit. but depending on where your perch is set you might need 3 mm spacer

I happened to order a set of these in 17 x 9 hyper black last week just before the group buy was posted for the 18's. They came in Friday but I was out of town until last night. Now that I've gotten them unwrapped, the wheels look great and they were packaged extremely well. Eddy was very prompt to answer questions and get the wheels shipped.
I just wanted to post my experience with APEX. Edit: I also meant to add that with me holding 2 wheels, standing on my home scale, and subtracting out my weight, I see an average of 17.4 lbs per wheel :-) It's probably not 100% accurate, but it matches the advertised weight of ~17 lbs for the 17 x 9s. Oh, and I have one more question for Eddy... do you know if these will work with stock E46 lugs?

On Saturday we successfully tested them over a 6 piston stoptech 355 kit on E92 335i. Although that car needed 10mm spacers to clear the strut tube, as they have less inner clearance vs. the E46. |

Anyone considering this should really jump on it. I was more interested in weight savings over aesthetics, so I almost feel guilty about how great these wheels look on my ZHP. They are great quality.

I believe you can still get the 17s, just not as part of a group buy.

My understanding is that the 17" group buy is over. 17" is now a regular product line for APEX and it's kept in inventory. You can order it anytime. Just not at the groupbuy deal. The 18" will be the same after the groupbuy.

We only do GroupBuys on new product releases and during re-ordering periods. GroupBuys are an excellent way to save on a set of wheels. You trade waiting for savings. The 17's are in stock and ready to ship same or next day, and shipping is cheap. The 17's are available in 6 colors while supplies last. 17x9" wheels for the E46 |

Hey Eddy, out of curiosity, what length wheel studs are on the M3 pictured in the OP?
