E46 320cic. need some help

just saw this on carsales

http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/...s=36&silo=1011

i need some questions answered. firstly. what sort of issues will i have with owning this car. since the 320cic was never sold here

are parts interchangeable. i.e. the engine and drivetrain would be the same as a 320ci. and the soft top and interior interchangeable wiht the 325cic and 330cic?

any other issues you guys could see?

and if you think its worth it. i could probably get into this without any changeover cost by selling my facelift 320ci

thats what i'm thinking. but it would be just a guess

i suspect the roof will be the same as the 325cic and 330cic

and everything else is same as the 320ci

the seats seem to be normal 320ci non sports seats but electric.

has the comfort seat instead of the sports seats.........would be because the car doesnt have the mtech kit on it and in Singas that is the standard interior....

mechanically I would say it is the same as the ones here..... Bodywise would be the same as here (ie roof, guards etc)

Hmmm... IMO the asking price is a bit much ... Take 2-3k off and u might have a deal there

U gotta be carefull with these personal imports

And yes all parts would be interchangable ...

Just make sure it all checks out (vehicle check in NZ) and also consider resale value if you purchase the car.

Otherwise black vert for 25k

Oh ye goes without saying ur resale value would be next to nothing, depending on how long u want to keep it
but as I alway say, u don't buy a car to make money, so resale value isn't that important to me, as long as u enjoy the car that's the main thing

buy it, rebadge 330Ci, modify front to look like 330, then sell for inflated price, with fake log book from Ebay!!!
