Check engine Light quick question

Hi There,

My service engine light come on a couple of days ago. I took my car to Autozone for one of their free diagnosis, to find out that (according to their machine) my MAF sensor needs replacing.
I don't wanna drop 200 bucks on a sensor and find out it didnt fix the problem. I tried using the MAF sensor cleaner, but didnt do anything... the light still on.

Anyway.. my question is: If i replace the MAF sensor, will the light go away on it own? (considering the diagnosis was correct). Or does the light need to be reset somehow after i fix the problem in order to go away?

Thank you

Yup, as long as the MAF is only thing causes SES light, then it'll go off by replacing it to new one.
