Anyone ever dated a narcissist before?

I dated one for the last two years, but I wanted to hear other peoples story. Cause all I know it was probably the worst 2 years of my life.

I know a couple of girls who are very narcissistic and they annoy the hell out of me. I can only imagine how bad that sucked for you. At least you gtfo of there before it was too late. Sheeit, I see youre in san jose...just bring your bike out to santana row on sat. night...be sure to bring an extra helmet

I have a couple of friends who are narc's and I can't stand them. I've stopped hanging out with them actually because you can be in the middle of a sentence and they will interrupt you with a story about themselves that is completely unrelated.

OMGGG this is so true and SO annoying.

It sucks for me because the dude I know thats like that is pretty much my best friend but that sh1t gets so difficult to put up with after a while.

ive been out with and talked to a couple.. never really went past that, i could never date one..
and yes one of the biggest attributes is them interrupting someone to start telling a story that revolves around them

NPD and BPD are very closely related, just be thankful you got out and it only cost you 2 years. Now stay the hell away from her!

But.... what aspects of your personality & behaviour, needs & wants attracted her to your life? Make sure you address those issues or you'll be taking this ride again.

The nice thing about these types of women is it's really easy to break them. I had one and for her birthday I got her a membership to a health club (She in no means needed to go to the gym) and told her that a body her age needs upkeep (She was twenty at the time). She was eating out of my hand for next three years, always asking if she was good enough, looks, in bed, financially, etc. It was great... in an evil sort of way.
