Z3 3.0 coupe

Hi, this is my first post here . I've been searching around and I've gotten more info here about m54 than on my car's forums . It seems people mod more e46 than z3's

currently my mods are ebay headers , evosport pulleys , fancluth delete, custom exhaust. 3.73lsd , spec stage 1 (not recomended) home made intake and a custom tune. 219 whp on a dynojet.. (same result before and after the evosports but I got some low-midrange gains (4whp)

I'm having some issues with P1190, 1192,1193 wich seem to be precat and postcat problems. since I have no-cats and these codes take my A/F ratio from 13.2-13.4 to 11.7-11.8 I'm loosing 5-6 whp everytime they come on. any ideas on how this can be avoided?

I have an extra evosport bosh alternator pulley $40 takes it . shipped to u.s (new in box... ordered the wrong one)

Welcome to the forums!!

If you want to post your alternator for sale you should do it in the Engine & Performance section.

Not sure about the codes you have but search in the general forum, I am sure others have had those codes before. You've done a lot of mods! I guess this isn't your first BMW or your first time modding? Those are some pretty good numbers, pretty much in line with people show with those mods.

Post up some pictures when you get a chance!

I wish my car was running at 11 range with AFRs. It sounds like its just the car looking for the cats and not finding them. There are a number of fixits from this, O2 sims, ecu solutions, etc. Just look for any thread with discussing "headers and no CEL".

Post cat CELs wont go away witthout a fix, and shouldn't effect your AFR, but I worried why you are getting a precat code...

Try changing the Pre Cat O2 sensors, because from what I understand, they are the only ones that effect the AFR. Also, you might want to try cleaning the maf, believe me, it helps.

There is probably a problem with your pre-cat o2 sensor (P1190) and you should call up Active Autowerkes if you want to take care of the post-cat o2 sensor problem (P1192/3).

Replacing the o2 sensor is cheap if you do it from the right place. The o2 sensor shouldn't be anymore than $50 for a Bosch unit.

thanks for the help . I really don't mind the light, I have gotten used to it with ALL my cars but I do hate it changing my fuel ratio . I'll change the sensor and see if thats it
