They are heavily controlled with security measures i.e theft, aftermarket parts and counterfeit. If you call Rolex they will not tell you anything about any watch, they will ask you to send it in with your full details. Each individual piece from rolex is traceable as they have multiple unique codes and very strict placement of codes and fonts in and outside the watch, hence why i dont wish to display mine. Basically it really is a rather anal institution but they do the greatest level of work and A1 service.
Ahhh, that's why. Quality materials and probably a fair bit more effort into the construction. Isn't some Tag Heuer watches hand built to?

Maybe one day, maybe, maybe, maybe, when I'm a little bit more middle-aged, and if I can afford it, I'll look into a Rolex. After all, like Ferrari and Lamborghini, it is a brand that reflects a lot of heritage, history and prestige and even little kids know what a Rolex is!

I can start my Rolex collection in Footscray, VIC or Cabramatta, NSW. No need to go out of the country.

Ok, took some quick pics.

All watches are original/authentic, let me know if anyone wants them. Gucci's were $1600 each. No boxes as they were lost whilst moving. Tag was roughly the same $1500ish has no box.. Wifes watch which I bought here 4 years ago, never worn $900 new. Offers are welcome. Dont need them.

Lovely... I would love an Officine Panarai watch... but am saving up more for an A Lange Lange One moonphase... got a Girard-Perregaux Ferrari watch currently (bought it a few years back) and then I bought a 360 to go with the watch

cheers,

richie

You can get those watches for less money now...

I cannot remember how much I got that for to be honest, but it is quite expensive since it is a moonphase and rose gold edition.. No. 22....

Here is a couple of photos of those 2 watches I mentioned... wear these 2 more often than others I have got..

cheers,

Where did you buy yours from? I got both of mine at David jones. Maybe that's the reason for price difference.

Haha, I only just saw this. Cacked myself.

If all the scare mongering about Gold going well north of $2k is true it'll be an even more expensive key chain.

guys. just wondering if anyone has used Clockmaker

does he bargain much off the listed price? if so can you give me a rough percentage? i know watch shops that sell new watches will let you have at least a 20% bargaining room on all new watches
