HKS/AFE/Shark VS UUC TSE3

Bimmerworld has a great deal on the HFS xatback exhaust, AFE Intake and Shark Injector right now. However I love the sound of the TSE3 but can't decide if it is worth the extra cost. It is actually more than all 3 items combined. Anybody have heard both the UUC and HKS on stock header and can comment on the sound. I want an aggresive sound but not to loud. I did have the old UUC (can't remember the name) dual canister and I loved the sound but couldn't stand the drone on my e36 m3. However I wouldn't want any louder than it. This is for an 04 zhp.

I've never heard the HKS personally but I have heard it is not like the TSE3 in terms of sound level. If you want a louder exhaust, there is no substitute to the TSE3.

If you do an exhaust, do the Magnaflow. And at least the shark and intake will have some gains, unlike the UUC exhaust.

I hate the ricey look of the blue tips on the HKS. Get the UUC.

+1 I've had both, I prefer the Magnaflow.

Or you could get in on Aggie's Magnaflow group buy.

Consider this

1) Aggie's group buy on Magnaflow #16533 Catback, very cheap.
2)Ebay K&N CAI #57-1001 HP Gain: 11.46 HP @ 6030 RPM/more like 5 HP
$247 shipped.
3)Shark
This all comes out to a few bucks over the Bimmerworld deal, but when you
add in the Bimmerworld shipping of $106-$130 it's definitely cheaper.

I'm with the above...sorta.

If all you are looking for is just a nice sounding exhaust, and don't really have the desire to be faster than anyone or do any further modifications/racing, then just get the UUC. If you are looking for real performance, go with the Bimmerworld deal or the path from Rob43. You'll get more performance for less money spent.
