Facelift hood on pre-facelift?

Would a facelift hood fit on a pre-facelift sedan? I messed up my hood and someone suggested I put a facelift hood on I wanna know if it will sit flush with the headlights because I think the shape of the grills would look good with the pre-facelift thanks.

it fits on but they all look funny up by the grille.
the facelift hood on the prefacelift looks ok-ish, but the prefacelift on the facelift, looks cheesier...

Jon,

You can do it, here is the Vorsteiner hood we carry in a pre-facelift car.

We have an E92 M3 hood in stock that you can come by and check out if you would like.
