How long Does the spray tint stay good looking through car washes?
Lile the title says.
I used some on my side markers and it looks good but when i went to film tint my tail lights it was a pain bc there very curved and frankly the film just isnt working so im considering using spray, any advice? Btw im only tinting the amber on my car excluding front turn signals Anyway though some experienced advice would be appreciated |

If you are driving through car washes I'd be more worried about damage done the clearcoat and paint on the car.
Don't be lazy, do it by hand. Car washes are for chicks and ruin your paint. |

It's not the washing you need to worry about, the sun is what does the damage and eventually fades the color out. After you spray the tint, spray on clear coat as well, that protects it from damage, but like I said, the sun is what you need to worry about.
When I applied it to my old e36 I got about one summer before the sun faded the tint from black to brown, so I had to constantly respray the lenses. I should note, my car always sat in direct sunlight so it was baking every day all day long. |
