Here are a few new LPs I'm listening to. I like music that fuses several genres and likes to experiment with instruments and sound.

Rahsaan Patterson Bleuphoria favorite song is Ghost

Van Hunt What were you hoping? favorite song so far

Not new at all, but great for the chillout mood.

And one more for good measure, and for my nostalgia's sake. Flying back home is the closest thing to being in the cloud city thanks to the fog.

Nice !! I found out about by following another artist, Rahsaan Patterson. He posted on his FB page about Blake.

I've been retrogressing lately. Sifting through a lot of old school 70's funk. Funk is like the missing link between jazz and hiphop.

The first guy Nilovic is incredible, and he's from Serbia. Kinda crazy to think he was making this music back in the hayday of funk.

The Headhunters song is a frequently sampled track in modern hiphop.

The last track is kinda heavy but it's a great song. The melody is funk but the lyrics are straight blues.

This was a great era in music, imo. Just try to keep an open mind and you'll hear it.

My cousin is a big funk guy as well. I definitely appreciate it, but I can't listen to a lot of it. Victor Wooten gives me enough funk to last.
