I saw that on the German eBay site and it had me thinking. It was like 600 Euros though. I appreciate the fact that its made to look as close to OEM as possible, but I still have my reservations about it.

I have a similar one in my mazda and it works great. I contacted the guy that sold me the mazda one about a week ago and he is sending the bmw one to me for my m3. As I said before, I will report back

i would actually consider that... as long as the music is decent and the nav is good....

I can't really say because I have worked with this guy before and he wants me to import it...

how is that a single din? and where is the "brain" of the unit? judging from the pictures i can only see like a screen..unless they chopped it off in the pictures

it looked like an ok product until i saw that it had arcade games built in. i was instantly reminded of those "SNES" lookalikes with 200-8bit games built in lol

edit: wait, is that the "brain" behind it? can barely see it because of the angles. now i see what you mean by single din, very interesting.

Same I would also be interested if the unit is capable of accepting future map updates (probably via that SD slot on the front). Mixed feelings it looks like cheap Chinese crap to me but lets see if anyone gets it (it might turn out to be pretty impressive after all).

It's a different supplier but the ones on German eBay are going for around $975.
