Tischer BMW/getBMWparts.com - $1,000 Holiday Shopping Spree GIVEAWAY + Charity Event!

Tischer BMW/getBMWparts.com - $1,000 Holiday Shopping Spree GIVEAWAY + Charity Event!

Tischer BMW/getBMWparts.com is proud to announce our 1st Annual Free Holiday Giveaway + Charity Event!!! What better time to give to those in need than this rapidly approaching holiday season! For our charity event, we are going to drive out hunger by doing a can-good drive and donating to a local organization in the DC area - The DC Central Kitchen - that aims at combating hunger and creating opportunity! Complete info on this great organization can be found at www.dccentralkitchen.org. Jason and I will be hitting up our local supermarket and picking up a shopping cart chocked full of items to donate to those in need! This is where we need your help! Our goal is to collect 1000+ can-goods!!! If you’d like to participate, please send a can-good to us at:

Tischer BMW/getBMWparts.com
ATTN: Holiday Charity
3211 Automobile Blvd.
Silver Spring, MD 20904

*please include your full name, address, phone #, email, and username/forum info inside the package – failure to do so will not get you an entry into the contest
**those who are local to our dealership are welcome to stop by normal business hours with your can-goods

For our 1st Annual Holiday Giveaway, we'll be giving one lucky winner a $1000.00 Shopping Spree on our site at getBMWparts.com!!! The contest will run from today , Thursday, November 19, 2009 through midnight, Sunday, January 17, 2010! We’ll announce the lucky winner on Monday, January 18, 2010!

We have 3 easy ways to enter …

1) Submit an order through our site at getBMWparts.com and include your username/forum info in the customer comments when checking out. The order can be for any amount. If you forget to include your username/forum info, PM Jason or myself and we’ll take care of you. *This is limited to one order per day.

2) Reply to this post with a product review or short DIY installation write-up on any OEM BMW part or accessory. The part or accessory does not have to be purchased from us to be eligible, but it does have to be genuine BMW. You are welcome to use any of the product pics and descriptions from our site. You are also welcome to write a review or DIY on a part that someone else may have already covered. We’ll be compiling these for another future project that will be of benefit to all, so we kindly ask that these are kept honest, accurate, and in good taste. It won’t help your fellow forum members if 35 DIYs are made on how to install a valve stem cap...or a product review on a fuel label sticker. The more product reviews or DIYs that are submitted in this thread will hopefully allow more members to see this post and hopefully participate in the charity so we can make a nice donation to some local people over this holiday season. *Any submissions give us your permission to use your feedback/pics/etc.

3) Participate in our can-good drive and help us drive out hunger for a local organization - The DC Central Kitchen! From above, for each can-good sent to us (and you include your full name, address, phone #, email, and username/forum info inside the package somewhere) you’ll receive an entry into the giveaway! For those who may work for large food companies like Campbell’s soups, dump trucks full of can-goods are welcome and will get you that many entries!

Jason and I would like to sincerely thank you for your continued business and support! Please consider those less fortunate this Holiday Season and help us fight hunger! Best of luck to all participants!!!

Also as far as product reviews go. I will do one right now on the Perforated ZHP Stearing Wheel Which I got From Tischer / www.getbmwparts.com . It's possibly the best stearing wheel ever. Everytime I go to drive my car now it's like a whole new car The grip is better thanks to the thicker wheels and the power bulges on each side at 10 and 2. The perforations keep my hands from sweeting so bad It's just so amazing. So if you can ever get your hands on one do it, it's one of my favorite mods on the inside of my car.

I'll be sending out cans early next week!

Here's a Windshield wiper motor DIY I did a month ago, if it counts.

My Ride: is made in Germany
Here are my reviews on genuine BMW parts:
OEM cd player, much better looking then any of the aftermarket ones put together and is made for my car.
OEM made in Germany VCG, idler pulley tensioner and belts, I have my trust in them and know they will last and perform better then the "off the shelf" products.

Here's mine, does it qualify?

I have a ZHP knob on the way. I'll be sure to post how to SAFELY remove your old OEM shifter without punching yourself in the head
