"Man is a marvelous curiosity ... he thinks he is the Creator's pet ... he even believes the Creator loves him; has a passion for him; sits up nights to admire him; yes and watch over him and keep him out of trouble. He prays to
him and thinks He listens. Isn't it a quaint idea."
-Mark Twain

Sucks, I was purple once, put up my avi pic, and then stopped being purple. I want to take down the avi, but I think I have to be purple to do that. It's a trap.

I love the quote by Epicurus. So epic!

Only one catch on this quote:

“Christian: ‘I’ll pray for you.’ Atheist: ‘Then I’ll think for both of us.’”
-Anonymous

To be truly correct, the Atheist in this quote should actually be an Agnostic, because an Atheist is one who has already concluded that there is no god. Ergo, this is counter to his implied statement that he is enlightened and is able to think critically. Therefore, to be truly enlightened, one must be able to take into account, and be ready to accept, all possibilities...thus Agnostic.

"Horsepower sells cars, torque wins races." - Carol Shelby

I don't want to contradict the great Caroll, but don't all the race car have rather High RPM Horsepower than Torque ??

F1 cars haven't any torque... Fat Ass Mercedes have a Crapload of torque, and they aren't race cars at all ...
