Time Attack ring question

How does the time attack stripe go on?
Is it painted? a snap on ring? vinyl?
I do know there is a tool for painting it, just wondering all of the options

forgive me for my ignorance?

it can be painted....or you can buy this sticker/vinyl ring they sale....ebay has it.
for painting youll just need to tape what you dont want painted....but i wouldnt go this route...do the sticker first and if you really like it then paint them.

Vinyl would be the easiest and least expensive option that is removable. European Auto Source offers them.

Take your time putting the EAS stripes on. I rushed and got a few wrinkles.

I don't believe so... I think they only offer them in 18 or 19" but giving them a call wont hurt.

I saw some at autozone and pepboys they were selling the vinyl for pretty cheap.

I am not a fan of the vinyl myself, but it can pull off the look just not sure how durable it is.

Just want to see what it looks like first. Then I will paint if I like it.

i got a friend of mine to cut some up on his plotter he came round and measured up the size first, he ownes a sign writing company it might be worth trying one of these .... hers mine i also got him to cut me up some matching BBS stickers .

Im just curious as to how durable the EAS vinyl is. Will it stand up to water and washing?

The TA rings EAS uses are Vinyl and they should be able to stand up to a lot of abuse like any other vinyl sticker would. Shoot them a PM for more details.
