Now this panel gets to dry for 48 hours and then receives minor touchups. All of the plastic pieces were prepped and painted black today, the rear black carpet will go in tomorrow along with me ripping apart the rest of the door panels and prepping them for dye. Then just have to take care of the headliner and the seats, oh boi I can't wait

How long is a bit? I would think bit falls into the "less than 4 hours" range giving you only 12 more minutes to post pics.

Are you familiar with limits in mathematics? As the likely hood of Neil posting more pics goes to zero, my respect for him also goes to zero.

Alrighty, spent the whole day taking apart the door panels carefully and prepping the front seats to the best of my ability. Since they are leatherette, I'm going to have to put in twice as much effort to get them to turn out half as well. Nonetheless I'm going to do my best, I can guarantee you that

All the rest of the leather pieces, ready for prep tomorrow.

after water cleaning. Can you tell the difference? Neither can I

The water shows the difference though

Done, the trash bag is just temporary

And another cinnamon tease. Still waiting for it to fully cure then I'll sand w/ 1000 grit and put another coat on to even it out

Don't expect too much tomorrow as far as this project goes. It's apparently going to snow hardcore and I want to take a break, cheers

I wonder if the dye on leatherette will hold up better or worse than on leather seats?

looking fukin excellent

if the leatherette is so tough to use, u could have tried to trade the black sport leatherette for some tan or grey leather sport seats GL with it!
