I didn't get much done today because of the car meet this morning, but I did manage to get the dash out. Carpet comes out tomorrow and then I replace it w/ the black one and the black dash.

I start early tomorrow, will have an update around lunch time. Cheers

Sorry I didn't update last night, I was dead tired and just felt like sleeping at 10:30

At any rate, let it begin again! I cleaned the rear carpet because hmmm let's see. I could never find a black rear carpet so my only choice was to dye my current carpet, just temporary until I find a real black rear carpet

my friend finally brought the black dash, woot! Thanks Matt!

First coat of dye

done, I'd say a 95% color match, oh well, it's the rear carpet. The top section in the middle, where the seat sits on. You can see that it is a different shade of black, well I sprayed it with some duplicolor vinyl and fabric paint and I'm glad i dyed the carpet and didnt paint it because it made the carpet so rough and crappy.

starting to work on the door panels, these will be the first to see cinnamon. I found that a countersink bit was the best for drilling out the plastic rivets, go buy one

Nice progress so far. This is definitely a huge job. I like how you are doing it right and removing everything and not trying to dye/paint things while they are in the car.

All that work taking the interior apart but you left the shift knob and boot in place. Don't be scared, you won't hit yourself in the face.
