Stett Radiator Hose Group Buy

Guys, I'm trying to work on the group buy for these, but I need more interest.

Retail on the set is $145. Since he's the only guy selling these, it shouldn't be a problem to post the group buy price. $95 shipped in the continental US. Tell your friends.

Available in red, blue, black.

From the site:

"We didn't just engineer a great set of silicone hoses, we took this upgrade to a whole new level. Why just replace the rubber hose when the next weakest link are the flimsy factory rubber o-rings? These large bore 4 ply extreme duty silicone hoses can withstand temperatures up to 550 degrees and maintain flexibility down to -65 degrees. Specially formulated Viton o-ring replacements provide a higher resistance to petroleum products and antifreeze while providing a greater seal under extreme temperatures thanks to tighter tolerances aimed at reducing thermal expansion under high heat. Each kit comes with upper and lower silicone hoses, replacement connector o-rings, aux fan switch o-ring and hose clamps. Available in red, blue and black. The toughest radiator hose upgrade on the market... bar NONE!"

So far I have:

1. Bcs325Ci 325Ci-red hoses.
2.
3.
4.
5.

Add yourself to the list. When I get around 12 people, I'll get with Stett and see what kind of price I can get.

Well, its about $55 + shipping for OEM hoses so what the hell? These should last the life of the car.

Question, can we buy some ends separately?

I like your thinking! But yes replacing my hose once rather than three more times sounds best. The only thing I don't get is they dropped the price like 33% for a group buy and people snub their nose at this!!

I'll kick back though, it should pick up after the holidays for sure.

I suppose you have to reuse the OEM hose fittings? Or do they include them?

Yes, you reuse the ends. They were going to try to come up with a solution, but they would have been insanely expensive. Mine were still in great shape.

I am all for being 'green' on reusing the ends. Cos dealers usually just dump the entire hose assembly. The only thing is removing the ends can be a bit of a PITA. If one isn't careful, the barbed edges can be damaged.

Or maybe Stett can offer is a swap service. Send in your old hose assemblies in exchange for a set of ends.

I could see him possibly doing something like that for the regular price, but for the group buy, I'm sure the extra shipping would hurt. He's going to have to recoup some tooling costs before he's going to be able to make a penny on these.

Tell your friends to order! Stett is good people.
