upgrading parts of 325 to 330 spec?

I have a zhp 330ci, better half has a 325xi. This year I put the snow tires on the 325 since its awd and am using it for my winter car. Question is, i know the maf's are different between the 330 and 325, is the 330 an upgrade?

Any other parts that would be a performance upgrade. Are the intake different? Throttle bodies bigger? Cams better?

My thinking is that perhaps you could get these upgrades on the cheap from a junk yard. Not looking for anything major just some fun projects that would make a little gain. already done CAI and exhaust, not doing headers (keeping cats and no CEL like on my 330) not forced induction or n20.

Cams, Lightweight flywheel, light weight wheels, and of course software. Don't expect huge gains though.

And no, you will not gain with a 330 maf on a 325.

I was talking about only upgrades to things found on 330 (or other bmw's) stock, not light wheels flywheels (its an auto anyways) etc.

are the stock 330 cams a nice upgrade?

330's have a different intake cam, crank, rods pistons, maf, and injectors(I think). There are some other things I'm forgetting off the top of my head but none of it is really a 'performance upgrade". The two engines are so similar, a M54B30 (330 engine) can actually run with a M54B25 (325 engine) ECU.

The 330 is a stroked 325 with larger intake piping to increase airflow (and a diff intake cam).

Your ZHP has a totally different MAF as well. It takes a 6 wire MAF specific to MS45 DMEs.

330's also have larger brakes and some more standard equipment vrs a 325.
