I just have the sport package suspension, and with the driveways/entrances and holes around here, I doubt I'll ever go any lower.

Most people are selling their OEM Sport springs in the For Sale section for about $75-100 shipped. I think that's a fair price.

What's the ride like in a sport package equipped E46? Mine is standard suspension and I find that it is a perfect balance of taughtness and loftiness. I've driven a 128i w/o and w/ a sport suspension and I didnt like the sport suspensions because the ride was overly jarring.

i have a 04 330ci with the sports package, is there any spring out there that will get me just a bit lower? lower then the ZHP?

the H&R have a firmer spring rate too

depends on the person about "noticeable difference"

H&R also adds a little "rake" to the stance

Would it be OK to install the sport springs only on the front of the car? I'd like to get rid of that wider gap at the front but would like to keep the rear (non-sport) as it is.

True, true.... I am just debating to leave my sport springs or replace them to H&R Sport ones (to use with brand new ZHP shocks & struts). I have 150K on my springs, does it matter? Do they become softer/weaker with time/mileage?

Uhm... Pardon me?...

Cheap springs have been known to "sag". I haven't heard that being an issue on oem springs. but they have been known to break a coil on the rear spring.
for me, it was worth the change to H&R for a little more of a drop and the added spring rate. this was after years of running oem sport springs with my konis. it's always cheaper to do it when installing new shocks for labor and then the insuing alignment.

"rake" in this case refers to the car's level. the front being a little lower than the rear. some can make the springs equal amount of drop, some a little less. H&R has a bit more front drop
