was this an a hole move?

everyone i talk to says this was a huge a-hole move on my part....but it seems like the right thing to do.

so me and my gf broke up a few weeks before christmas. I was more than happy to be done with her..she was a psycho, i moved on. She is still all in love with me and crazy, hitting me up all the time etc. So she dropped a package off on my door step of these boots she knew i wanted. The next day i drove up to her work and said thanks for the boots and handed her $150 in cash, (the boots cost somewhere around 110-130 at most stores i looked at). She almost started crying and could not believe i didnt get her a "gift" and told me i was the most selfish person on the planet. I just walked out.

Her plan didnt work out and she was upset about it, nothing wrong IMO, she was just hoping you would come back and you didnt so she got emotional

Wow I just had a serious response to a F2B thread

that was the best way to handle it..

if you got her a gift of equal value, then she would feel like you still had feelings or something..

this was "hopefully" her last ditch attempt and you killed it..

you could have been a real ******* and said you had a present waiting at her apartment, gone back with her.. sexually defiled her, while taking pictures that you would later post on e46fanatics, then told her it was over, and left.. but then she probably would key the sh1t out of your accord or something..

It seems as if she wanted to get back with you or tried to at least with a present......but since you have were going to pay her for it, her plan crumbled down. She "was" expecting a gift(christmas time) and a "im sorry" of some sort out of you though( for whatever reason you guys broke up for), the fact that it was christmas, you could' ve gotten her something small, but since you said you are "happy to be done with her" its better off you didnt and shouldnt, but if she is still in love with you she will be back and bother you some more.

You should have hit her in front of all of her co-workers (Not like a Chuck Norris hit, but a b!tch slap). She would never bother you again.

Please tell me that these are for hiking or the snow...

I hope your not one of those tools in their timberlands not tied, with the big tongue sticking out, clumping around town trying to give everyone and their brother financial advise by telling them "you need to diversify yo bonds my *****"..
