Bimmerbrake header questions

I've been considering getting headers for my 330ci and have a few questions i was hoping you guys could help with.

1). There's the ss v2 ($400) and the gen 3 ($430) to choose from, but there's no differences noted in them. Does anybody know the differences and if the gen3 are worth the extra $?

2). I already did a muffler delete, with the catless headers also, is it likely that it'll be too loud and have legal concerns? (there's no inspections here, so passing emissions won't be an issue)

3). Does anybody know of who i should talk to for a deal? I know they were like $300 6-12 months ago, and I'd like to get the best price possible.

These will be paired with a twm pedal box, and followed up with bimmerworld street/track performance engine and transmission mounts when they're in stock.

Also, how important is it to get them ceramic coated?

You picked the wrong vehicle to modify if you're worried about $30 in price.

You answered nothing i asked. It's Sunday, they won't answer an email until Monday or Tuesday. I asked on here to see what i could find out. I'm planning on calling on Monday.

And don't try to say I've got the wrong car if i care about saving money that would be spent unnecessarily. $30, doesn't "matter", but saving money i don't need to spend is saving money.

I was thinking about getting BB headers too a while ago but never got around to ordering them. Plus their website says that both are backordered and it's been like that for a while... I've also read somewhere that they are becoming much less active on this site/might not be a sponsor here anymore. Let me know what you end up doing!

The ss reps ($400) are a couple months backordered, but the gen 3 ($430) are in stock. If i talk to them and get us a deal if we both order, would you be in to ordering this week some time?

Definitely would be interested, but I won't be able to order til next week. I am still away at school and won't be home til then if you don't mind waiting.

1). I was part of that thread and forgot all about it. Thanks. I read every page and have a better understanding now.

2). That helps only a little. It gives me an understanding of the tone more than anything. How loud it is depends on how far i turn my volume knob to the right. I'm not saying it's useless to check them, but i would prefer somebody with the same setup to share their opinion. Thanks nonetheless.

You'll need to put your muffler back on or it will be far too loud with either set of headers.

See what they'll do on a group buy...I bet there are a few others on here that might bite if we get a discount and they actually have them ready to ship out

I couldn't find a phone number and the bimmerbrake account wouldn't let me message it so i sent them a message on Facebook asking them to call me tomorrow. I'll report back what i find out when i get a response.

I am currently running the bimmerbrakes SS headers and have loved the performance gains
