Cooling System Under Ext Warranty?

Burning Antifreeze

No heat.

Temp guage bouncing up and down.

Thinking its either the Thermostat or Water Pump... or with my luck both.

Called Turner got a good quote on replacing them both ($422 for those that are curious) but then I got to thinking... I bought this car in August 06 with 21k miles on it as a certified preowned with the extended warranty. I have 93k miles on it now.

Does my extended warranty cover this?

I've never had a problem with this car before so I've never needed the warranty so I have no idea.

50$ deductable, take it to the dealers..

they may try telling you you might need other parts replaced during their initial inspections like control arms and such but just go in for warranty work and get out fast as you can. :p

The current CPOs run 6 yrs, 100K miles (not sure what the deal was in 2006), so you should still be covered. It should cover cooling system components. Call the dealer w/ your VIN, they'll tell you for sure.

they will try pulling some shiat on you, dont buy it though and get it fixed for 50 bucks before its too late! i got mine fixed a couple days before my warranty expired lol
