I have searched and found something of interest, but didn't directly answer my question. So here it goes...
I have a 1999 323i Automatic. I have taken apart the shifter trim (window switches and gloss black trim) and shifter plastic surround (where the PRND432 & where the manual shifter boot would go). I want to place a Manual shift boot on my automatic shifter. It looks like the opening for the boot and the plastic shifter surround are identical in size. I would like to know if it can be done... If it is possible, I plan on ordering from shiftstyle.com. Any comments would be appreciated! Spencer For reference, I attached photos of the trim and shifter. |

Do you know if shiftstyle.com would include the trim that snaps in?

The trim is not really needed. I had one on mine but took it off later. You can hot glue it or just have it pushed in under pressure.
![]() I hate posting this pic, but shows you the shift boot. Hope this helps. Most people hate my interior, but I like it.

Sparker, are you interested in selling your automatic shift cover?

Sorry, I am not. I keep all the original parts for when I go to sell the car. Truely sorry! However, if you are interested in buying one, you can find one here for about $70 bucks brand new...

I think I got mine in the picture off Ebay...with the stitching, around 40 bucks. I eventually took it off though. Do not have it anymore. I did like it at the time. I still have the matching shift boot still installed. Sometimes, kinda wish I had it back.
