Good question - I think I heard NickG wrapped that tune up but I'm sure he'll jump in to confirm or deny soon.

1. It's $300 more because it includes an electric cooling fan, which is needed for fitment of the kit on an auto (a manual has this fan already).
2. The auto kit comes with a 6 psi wastegate spring in order to keep the torque level safe for the auto transmission's smaller clutches.

And although HP is down on an auto, shift speed is UP (= more time spent in boost). I heard a rumor that, therefore, an auto might be faster off the line

Since most of the hardware is the same what limits the psi or hp? Could it easily be reversed once the tranny is strengthen or a manual swapped in?

yeah the only difference is the wastegate spring that limits boost to 6psi

Update - NickG said:
"I haven't tested a 03+ non-zhp 330 yet, but frankly, it should be a slam dunk."

If anyone's interested I'd say just email him: nickg@techniquetuning.com

with an auto, you can brake-boost off the line. If you have three awesomely skilled feet, you might be able to do the same trick in the manual. But in the manual, there's too much torque to wide-open shift in lower gears, on the auto, as the engine isn't fully unloaded between shifts, you hardly hear the bypass and it holds boost between shifts.

So is your car a MS 43 or 45 because I see it's a facelift but I am facelift with MS 43......i just wasnt sure if they had a tune for the "real" facelift.
