I'd be just fine with that. I'm always more area under the curve.

Okay, if all goes well I'll hit the dyno tomorrow after my wife's sonogram. Hopefully traffic won't kill me!

I'm getting under the car to do my differential bushings this weekend, I'll get some good pictures of the y-pipe.

BTW, I know it's a different motor, but Bimmerworld's new 3.5 inch single for the M3 looks great. What I notice, though, is that the Y section isn't super close to the flanges, so I'm not really concerned about my distance, more concerned about the size of the merge. Might be calling up Dr. Gas in a couple weeks.

the headers are 2" I believe so you had them weld 2 x2" pipe into a single 3" pipe?

I'm convinced that the exhaust will make power, it just may take a different y-pipe.

Any idea of weight savings over stock exhaust? Im about to install a ZHP exhaust and am wondering if its gonna be way heavy...(currently Ive got a stock 323 exhaust)

It's light. I'll try to weigh it when I take it off.

The y-pipe was already fab'd when I got the exhaust. I just had Stett weld it up into place, mainly. It's about 2 inches coming off the headers, and they merge to 2.5 and it expands to 3. I think it'd be better if they merged into a 3.

So far I've lost all my low end torque and made zero gains. Have another pull. I'm a bit upset, now.

I'll post graphs tomorrow if they're available.

The pull after my cooldown was looking promising but he let off at 6200, below where I usually hit peak HP. Still lost low end torque
