i am pretty sure you can squeez 245 up front and maybe 255 out back depending on the tire. and on the wheel. not sure about offset. hopefully the VMR guy will see this and get you a better answer

I'm actually interested with VMR wheels, i would love to go with 19's but if it's gonna cause rubbing issues I'm cool with 18's.

You should be safe with this setup

19x8.5 ET35-40
19x9.5 ET40-45
225/35/19 and 255/30/19 are 100% safe even on lowered vehicles

Most of VMR's set up in terms of their offsets and their tire choices will look like this:

19x8.5" ET35 OR ET40 : Tires : 235/35-19 (or 245/40-18)
19x9.5" ET45 : Tires : 255/30-19 (or 255/35-18)

Though on some tires, 255's can run quite wider than normal, so certain manufacturers I might suggest a slightly smaller tire like a 245, or you could just get to work with the fender roller. More applications are ok with the 255, so I wouldn't worry about rubbing.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

This is a nice setup for non-M E46

Some nice wheels that are available in this sizing

Yokohama AVS Model T5 19x8.5 +40 19x9.5 +45 (same specs for 18")

Yokohama Kreutzer Xi 19x8.5 +42 19x9.5 +45 or 18x8 +40 18x9 +45
