Exclamation Help with codes 281E, 2796, 2883, 2882

I posted this on 02-11 and I have not had any responses. If anyone reading this could possibly lead me into what I should look for I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance!!!

....my "Service Engine Soon" light is on. 75k miles. I have a peake tester, so I ran the codes. Codes read as followed:

Table 20
281E - Variable Air Intake System: Activation
2796 - Electronic Throttle Controller: Adaption Wrong
2882 - Mixture Preperation Bank 1
2883 - Mixture Preperation Bank 1

Car seems to run fine, no rough idling, can't see any leaks. I have searched the codes 281E and 2796 all over and can't find much information on them. Please advise on what I should look for with the codes listed above. Thanks in advance!

Hey, did you ever find out what 281E was for?

I'm pulling that code as well as 2960 and 2973 which are for the pre-cats....

My Ride: 330CiC & 325iT
Shortly after taking my '05 330CiC out of winter storage I threw a "Service Engine Soon" light and read codes 2882 & 2883 (along with 27D6 and 28DD). I cleared'm but 2882 & 2883 kept on re-occurring. They were caused by a crack in the rubber elbow (13 54 1 438 759, $13.95 @ Bavauto) going from the collar with the Mass Air Sensor to the Throttle body which was causing a lean mixture. Supposedly it's a common problem...

code 2796 (or is it 279b) and 2882/2883

I got those codes as well.
after reading the code book again, i realized that it was really code 279b
i replaced my thermostat, which took care of 279b

i am still struggling with 2882/2883
