Buying OBD-II Cable... need some input!

Hello!

I saw this cable on ebay, seems good material, any input on the RS232 ports for our cars?
All I want is to read and clear codes, any other functions would be just bonus.

I suggest going with the Peake Research Code Reader as it is one of the few BMW readers out there that can read, in addition to the Generic OBDII codes, the BMW specific ones as well.
