BRAAAAAAAAAAAAP!!!

Heard an m3 with straight pipes before. Sounded mean as hell. U could hear him for miles. It was too loud IMO. But not sure how that would sound. Post a video when u do though.

I have that setup exactly and it's not loud at all. Magnaflow makes good stuff man. Magnaflow catbacks sound awesome in our cars. The only difference I could tell bet'n my setup and that of E46s with magnaflow catback only is that I have a SLIGHT rasp after 3000. It's barely audible though. Overall it's just a nice deep tone, I love it and so do all my friends and co-workers. We are all actually surprised at how quiet it is given that it is fully free-flowing from the engine back (my muffler is just an oval resonator really, lol, you can see right through it from inlet to outlets, and yet it works!).

Do it man, and for emissions well, you can pass inspections by what mvrk 10256 is pointing out to you, but as far as the actual sniffer test, well, that idk. Living in Florida FTW!

The Magnaflow with headers sounds great. There are several videos on the forum. Check the thread in my sig.
