Opinions wanted on DINAN parts

Hello, I'd just like to get your guys opinion on the DINAN intake and stage 2 engine software for my 325ci. I've been looking at intakes and the AEM and ITG ones are way too expensive so I was going to go with K&N then I found the DINAN for about $6 more. I was also going to get teh sprint booster to get rid of the throttle lag and the JC shark injector. Both of those cost $299 but the stage 2 engine software from DINAN costs $399. So I'd be saving about $200 and get the same results. From reaserch on google I've got mixed opinions on it, some say DINAN is over priced then others but I'd actually be saving $200 and I will have 5 points towards a DINAN "car". I look at it as DINAN tests there equipment and it's more of an OEM look and doesn't detract from the value and it's specifically a BMW tuner unlike K&N, AEM, ITG, etc.

But all in all I'd like your opinion on that DINAN set up, if anyone has had experience with it, etc etc.

Here's the links to DINAN for the parts I'm talking about:

Thanks in advance

My 328i is a full Dinan Stage 2 car. All I can say is I love Dinan's parts and I'm not going to swap them out for another company. The Dinan intakes sound sooo nice, they wistle like a mother and their exhaust are all very good, just a little raspy. Dinan FTW!

The only bad thing I have heard about DINAN is that the parts are a little expensive for what you are getting, due to the name. But, quality is apparently top notch.

Probably cause there is a lot of threads about this, and one that had plenty of discussion and comments yesterday. I'll search and find it for you.

Ok cool, thanks guys.

And Tater49: You say raspy, it's not like ricey though. Is it like a throaty raspy.

My plans for the car are to make it a Dinan S-325. I don't have a s**t load of money to blow on stage two suspension stuff and what not, but more power and a tastefully modded car is what I'll get out of the S model.

I'd wait a little bit, Dinan usually has there 10-20% rebate in the spring for all their products. BTW if you're interested in a Dinan intake for your 325. I'm selling mine =)

No way is it ricey. It sounds really good lets just put it that way. The Dinan Exhaust was removed from my car though and replaced with a Remus Muffler and Top Speed Headers for that deep throaty sound. I'll post up a vid in the near future. And your not too far away, you should head down to Stamford for some of our meets once spring season starts.

Is it the updated high flow intake or the old tube style one?

And yea, I was going to wait anyways as my car is on jack stands now for the winter and won't come out till mid march.
