its an easy mod, u just gotta take your time with it and really mask everything off well, weather u do it on the car, or take the headlight out, you still have 2 do very careful masking unless you want 2 disassemble the ENTIRE headlight and thats a PITA and will probibly result in a 5hr + job. the 2 diy's ive seen, you just remove the headlight lens, bulb, and do a massive masking of everything.

i tried 2 do that when i first got my bumper, i broke one of the foglights trying 2 take it apart, they arent made 2 come apart, i will probably laminX them.

what do you guys do with your bulbs? get ones to match the color? like 3000k bulbs for the yellow ones and what do you do for the black ones? or anyone running white/blue bulbs with the headlight painted yellow or black?

the bulb determines the color of light, yellow bulbs make yellow 3000 k or less, with the blackout mod it just makes the light way more dim.

This is one reason why I opted for yellow.

You're right Cole, mine were never painted. It's just the yellow bulbs reflecting off the chrome
