There should be a little hole about the light, You might just be able to screw it out with a philips head. Or on top theres an oval hole, push a screw driver down onto a tab on the light, hold, and push the light out. it's tight and takes a little force to slide the light out. It snaps back in, make sure it's on the tracks.

I know how to get the light out but I'm trying to pull the lens off so I can paint the inside. Im not sure how to remove the lens

Sick. I wanted to paint mine like that (different colors) but I couldn't tape them off... I would've had to remove the headlights from the car.

I used paint pens to do this...

thanks for the idea on this one, im going to paint the high beam bowl yellow and then paint everything else matte black with the vht night shade i picked up for painting my taillights.

I sprayed em with high temp primer first, then gloss black rustoleum paint, can be picked up at walmart or something.
