Duplicolor Metalcast works great. I picked it up at Advanced Auto Parts for around $10. I went with blue about 9 months ago and it still looks great

I know, but my wheels are gold and they would have been a totally different hue from the lights. Idk, I just thought it would have looked kind of weird.

Hmmm Hope you understand that having blue or red lights at the front of the vehicle is highly illegal and reserved for Police cars only. Wouldn't be surprised if you get a ticket within the year.

This thread was an awesome one back in the day. I tried it on my old halogens, but since upgrading to OEM Bi-Xenons, I couldn't bring myself to deface them.

Wanted to share a few pics of my yellow works =) I had just simple halos
1) First I've installed white angel eyes,
2) then replaced front glass in head light covering it with transparent protective envelopment
3) Also bought new foglights and also covered them with protective envelopment, only yellow colour
4) In nearest plans - to paint head lights with yellow, waiting for Duplicolor Metalcast delivery
5) thinking of changing white turn lights back to yellow (what do you think, worth it?)

Here is what i've got for now:

for the people with black out inner reflector, how does it look when you flash the light or when you turn on the light?

Figured I'd post an updated shot with the Yellow high beam bowls....

BMW e46 330Ci w/ Rotora BBK by Center SpotLight Media (SoloEuro), on Flickr

...and for those who are curious as to how mine are so yellow, I used gloss yellow paint instead of stain glass yellow paint. I did it accidently, but I loved the pure yellow look way better! Now I did pretty much lose functionality of the high beams due to the paint not being reflective, but I decided it didn't really matter since I have Bi-Xenons.

Guys I was thinking about painting the outer chrome part (the parts left unpainted surrounding the outer xenon lens) black. I think it will really set off the inner yellow reflector. Thoughts? Maybe someone PS a prototype?
