05 E46 M3 LSD only 33K miles

Have the complete rear subframe/diff assembly from a 2005 M3 with only 33K miles. This includes the axles and driveshaft as well. Diff is still mounted in the subframe, all bushings look good. Pics available. Asking $1250, willing to ship at buyers expense.

If you have a six speed trans this is plug and play. Other wise you need to have the driveshaft modified (different length) Doesn't come with the rear brakes.

I am almost positive your hubs should fit no problem, but I encourage you to double check with your own research (check for other M diff swaps) just in case. I don't want to mislead anyone. The rear hub and trailing arm is one piece, and since the M3s have a wider rear track width this swap wouldn't be quite as common if the M3 axles didn't fit in the non M hubs. I can get pics this evening. Is there anything specific you want close up shots of?

Here's a couple of pics, it still has all of the control arms and sway bar on it right now. Sorry the pics aren't great, I'll work on getting it apart and cleaned up this week and take some better ones, also try to weigh the stuff and get an idea for shipping. I took pics of all the subframe mount bushings to show that they're not falling apart or cracked. I don't have a picture of the drive shaft but like I said in the post that's included as well. I'll get some pics of that soon too. In terms of how long to install I can't say for sure. I can tell you that it took myself and a buddy about an hour and a half to drop out what you see in the pics. That consisted of dropping the exhaust, driveshaft, trailing arms, shocks, ebrake cables, brake lines, and the six bolts that hold the sub frame in. To fully install I'm guessing might take 4-5 hours considering you have to switch your suspension parts over. That's just a guess on my part though. I also have the additional u shaped subframe brace not shown in the pics.

Bump, willing to split this up if people are interested. Only 30K on everything

700 for diff and subframe, as mentioned all bushing look great. No cracks or dry rotting.

200 for full drive shaft.

150 for each axle.

the m3 rear will not fit on nonm hub/trailing arms. the m3 axle splines are bigger.

I've heard this is not the case, but I can't say for certain since I haven't tried myself. Have you done it yourself and had the issue? I know there are a number of Non M cars that have done this swap but don't use the M3 hub/trailing arm due to the wider track width.

This would be a easy way to put almost new bushings and diff into high mileage M3

Also good for anyone wanting to get rid of the one wheel peel in non M cars. Anyone going FI or tracking could use this.
