When you hold down the DSC button for 10 seconds, both the DSC & BRAKE light will turn on. (YELLOW) Then your traction control is off. It will always reset when you turn your car off.

The light on the dash doesn't activate unless the dsc does (no light=good). It will pop on when the car is trying to maintain traction. The light only stays lit when you have turned it off.
