oil light comes up randomly.
hello
im new to this forum and i just realised my oil light comes on and off for a little time randomly.i checked my oil level and everything seems fine. also my srs airbag light always seems to stay on.i havnt had a crash.my cars a 2003 330i.do you think its wise to send the car over to tires plus for a full checkup? thank you kushan |

it's your oil level sensor, it's just a dummy light if you know your oil is good and you check/change it regularly no need to worry about it if your dash light crazy you can buy the part and put it on. mines been broke since i got the car and i have yet to fix it

Yeah mine randomly came on tonight. Oil level is fine. I'm going to clear the code and see what happens. I am going to change the oil this weekend since I'm right at 5k miles. I might look into a new level sensor
